Another week here in Sandy Utah!

The missionary work is still SUPER SLOW, but things are looking up. We have zone conference this past week and it was really nice to see some of the missionaries that I met in the MTC. We talked about our purpose as missionaries; which is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them received the Resorted gospel through faith in Jesus Christ, baptism, repentance, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end.

This past sunday, my companion and I sung acapella in one sacrament meeting and bore our testimonies in two other Wards. The Members are really nice and give us rides when we need them. But my time is short. Hopefully  next week I can elaborate more on the progress of our work.

Sorry, I still don't have a picture of my companion and I. However here are a few pictures that I've taken at sunset.

1st week

Well, I'm finally here in the field. I'm in the Sandy East Zone. It's soo different than the MTC! I love this Gospel and want to share it with others, but we're having a hard time finding people to teach. It's been a LONG but SLOW week. I'm hoping things will pick up this week. Heavenly Father will provide a way.

My new companion is Sister Wheldon. (I don't have a picture of us yet) She's from Texas, she's 21 and has only been here 8 weeks! oka! she's new too! lol! We WALK everywhere so my feet are really blistered, but are healing.

The Members of the ward (I cover 4 out of the 9 wards in the stake) are really nice. Dinner is always at a Member's house and food it good. It's been really HOT! Not used to the heat yet, but it's okay.

Well I have to go, but here are some pictures from the training center.

First Week in the MTC

WOAH! What a crazy, busy, but fulfilling week!! Things are AMAZING here at the training center. My companion is Sister Williams, she's actually from WASHINGTON! She's super sweet and we get a long GREAT!!! :) I swear, the time goes by so fast! Classes and studies are long, but I'm learning so much!! There's about 1,500 to 2,000 missionaries just on this (main) campus and I'm not sure about the West campus, but everything runs so smoothly. We leave the training center on Tuesday and there's about 22 other missionaries that are headed to Salt Lake City South too! My District (class) is awesome! Most of them are from Southeast states and one is from New Zealand! I can't picture myself anywhere else right now, this gospel changes lives!!! I have so much to say but we have limited time! oka! Got to go, but look out for pictures in the next post.

Love,
Sister Olszowka
